Graphite Basalt
Dark charcoal tones with a tight, dense finish. Works with any property colour. The most requested aggregate we lay.
UV-stable polyurethane resin mixed with natural stone aggregate. No weeds. No puddles. No maintenance beyond an occasional jet wash.
Resin bound surfacing is UV-stable polyurethane resin mixed with kiln-dried natural aggregate and poured as a single continuous layer onto a tarmac or concrete base. The result is a seamless, smooth surface that water passes directly through — no ponding, no drainage channels required.
Water drains directly through the surface into the sub-base below. In most residential situations this means no planning permission is required, even for driveways over 5 m².
The polyurethane binder fully encapsulates each stone particle and seals the surface. There is no joint, no gap, and no route for weed seeds to establish.
Jet wash once a year to clear surface debris. No sealing, no re-jointing, no weed treatment. That's it. Ten-year workmanship guarantee in writing.
All aggregates are natural stone, kiln-dried, and UV-stable in a polyurethane binder. Colour does not fade. We carry samples — bring them to you during the site visit.

Warm honey and amber tones. Suits period properties, brick facades, and gardens with sandstone walling.
Bright, pale finish. Suits modern new builds and homes with white or grey render. Shows soiling more than darker aggregates — worth considering.
Warm reds and ambers from natural iron-rich stone. Good against red brick and traditional clay roof tiles.
Four stages. The base takes the most time — the pour itself is fast once the prep is right.
We assess the existing surface, drainage, and access. You receive a written quote within one working day — fixing the price, the aggregate, and the start date.
Existing surface removed and disposed of. MOT Type 1 sub-base installed and compacted to a minimum 100 mm depth. Falls set to drain away from the property.
A bound base layer — tarmac or concrete depending on ground conditions — is laid and allowed to fully cure before the resin is applied. We don't rush this stage.
Resin and aggregate mixed on-site in a forced-action mixer and poured immediately. Trowelled to a consistent 18 mm depth in a single continuous pass. Walkable within 4–6 hours. Vehicle use after 24 hours.

Two and a half years on, the drive looks like the day they finished. That's the test, isn't it.
Tidied up every evening — you'd hardly know there was a job on. Quoted to the penny, finished the day they said they would.
We had three quotes. Pavesett wasn't the cheapest. We're glad we paid the difference.
